World premiere of 'Corpus' for chamber orchestra conducted by James MacMillan

3 February 2019

Barnaby is currently taking part in the London Philharmonic Orchestra's Young Composers Programme 2018-19. As part of this scheme, he has written a new work for chamber orchestra, Corpus, which will receive its premiere on 1 July 2019 in the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London.

The first performance of the work will be given by players from the London Philharmonic Orchestra alongside members of the orchestra's Foyle Future Firsts scheme, conducted by James MacMillan. The work was written as a companion piece to Barnaby's Hypercubus, for solo clarinet, which was inspired by the paintings of Salvador Dalí.
