'I saw eternity' world premiere by Londinium chamber choir
4 January 2019
Londinium chamber choir, conducted by Andrew Griffiths, have just announced the programme for their upcoming concert on Saturday 2 February exploring the theme of time. This concert will feature the world premiere of Barnaby's largest stand-alone choral work to date, I saw eternity.
I saw eternity is scored for two SSAATTBB choirs, and uses a single line from Henry Vaughan's poem The World for its inspiration and part of the text: 'I saw eternity the other night, Like a great ring of pure and endless light, All calm, as it was bright'.
